In case it got lost in the shuffle of planning your upcoming Thanksgiving weekend, we wanted to take a second to remind everyone that Our Hearts To Your Soles 2015 is tonight!
As we mentioned in a previous blog, Our Hearts To Your Soles 2015 will take place tonight from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Dorothy Day Center in St. Paul, located at 183 Old Sixth Street. Free parking will be available near the center courtesy of Interstate Parking.

We are very excited for this year’s event, and although we say it every year, there’s a very real possibility that this is the most popular event we’ve held. A lot of people have reached out for more information about the event, and maybe you’ve heard some of the radio spots we’ve had on 92 KGRS, 93 X or on 105 The Vibe. Because we’re expecting such a large turnout, attendees should try to show up earlier in the evening to ensure they get the right size shoes. There’s a possibility that we will run out of some of the more popular shoe sizes if they are in high demand, so if you have a common shoe size, please try and get there early. We want to do everything in our power to get you the perfect pair of shoes, but we can’t guarantee that we’ll have your size if you show up right before the event ends.
Thanks again to everyone who has volunteered to help out tonight, and we can’t wait to see all of you. Your generous support means the world to us, and according to a new study, is actually great for your health! This study, conducted by a professor at the University of California, uncovered that having a positive mental attitude and feeling grateful helps combat depression, stress and anxiety, all of which can contribute to heart disease. So give back to the community this holiday season, and your heart and health will thank you for it!
