Silverman Ankle and Foot - Triple Arthrodesis

Dear Dr. Silverman,

First off I want to say thank you and god bless you for giving me my life back.

About 8 years ago, my arch collapsed in my left foot. I did not go to the doctor because after about an hour the pain started to go away (Big Mistake) a bone in the foot started slowly easing out. About 2 years ago, I started going to the chiropractor and he worked it back in. That held for about 6 week. As time went on, my visits were as frequent as twice a week. He finally told me he couldn’t help me anymore and suggested I go and see you. I made the appointment that same day and the rest of it is a dream come true.

You showed me the x-rays and you explained in detail what was wrong with my foot and what needed to be done. I am 69 years old and I was really scared.

I will admit the recovery was long and boring. I could not master using the crutches or hopping on one foot very well so I opted to sit in a wheel chair. I did of a lot of embroidering and reading. I was watching the “Judge” shows (I could be a lawyer now). I was glad it was only 2-1/2 months or I might have gone blind (ha ha).

It was all worth it in the end. I couldn’t go anywhere you had to walk a lot. Thanks to you, I now can say yes to my family when they ask me to go places.

So Dr. Silverman, I again want to say thank you for giving me my life back.

I have to say that I never had any pain. I followed all your orders to a T and as boring as it was and as tempting as it was to not follow orders, I am glad I did. God bless you and your staff. Everyone was kind and helpful.
