After a few months of looking for the right opportunity, I am excited to announce that I have accepted a new position with OrthoArizona! Orthopedic foot and ankle surgery has always been a calling for me, and I’m blessed to have found an opportunity to work alongside some of the best and brightest minds in the field with the team at OrthoArizona.
I’ll be operating out of the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, specifically at their Arcadia, High Street and Pima Center locations. After getting acclimated with the area and my team, I’m officially seeing new patients, so if you or someone you know needs orthopedic care in the greater Phoenix area, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Why Arizona?
Although I enjoyed my time in Georgia, it just didn’t feel like the right fit for myself, my family and what I envisioned for our future. I began looking for new opportunities after my contract ended, and like the settlers in the 1800s, I felt compelled to head west. Arizona, and more specifically the Phoenix area, was always high on my list, so when I connected with OrthoArizona and learned more about their opportunities and their approach to patient care, it seemed like the right fit.
Arizona is perfect in many ways. For starters, it was the right move for my family. I’m closer to family now, and it will be wonderful to connect more frequently with some of my favorite people. But it’s not just my family that have been drawn to this wonderful state. I also have many friends and colleagues who live here seasonally or year round, and it will be nice to catch up and stay socially engaged with friends over shared interests.
Speaking of interests, they were another big reason why Arizona always caught my attention. I feel quite aligned with Phoenix from a lifestyle perspective. It’s a very active and health-conscious community, both of which are important in my daily life.
Oh, and the weather here isn’t bad either 🙂
Thank you to all my family and friends who supported me as I worked to get up an running with this new opportunity, and I can’t wait to get to know the people and places that make Phoenix the wonderful city that it is. Reach out if you’re ever in the area or in need of foot and ankle care. My office at OrthoArizona is officially open!
All the best,
Dr. Lance Silverman
