If you’ve been following our blog for a while now, you probably know that Dr. Silverman is a big fan of OssioFiber. OssioFiber is a surgical fiber that is twice as strong as traditional non-metal fixation devices, and Dr. Silverman performed the first surgery in Minnesota using the device.
The parent company of Ossiofiber is OSSIO Inc., and they reached out to a number of foot and ankle surgeons to see how they were managing to provide care during the COVID-19 outbreak. Dr. Silverman and a few others were interviewed and a compilation of the recordings was recently uploaded by OSSIO. We wanted to share the interviews with you so you get a better understanding about how we’re trying to provide care during this time, and so you can get a broader understanding of what providers in other areas of the US are going through.
